Understanding what the problem with your A/C might be.

So, what happens when your air conditioner isn’t making cold air? Typically, it’s because there is a problem with the refrigerant, either there isn’t enough or it’s not circulating properly. If there is a leak in the A/C system, there won’t be enough refrigerant to cool the air. Sometimes air conditioners have stopped working because little pieces of rubber from the inside of the A/C hose plug up the passages. This restricts the flow of refrigerant and stresses the compressor.

Before recharging the refrigerant in your system, the law requires a thorough leak inspection. An A/C inspection will expose leaks, worn or broken parts, as well as a worn serpentine belt and tensioner. Our technician can make necessary repairs and recharge the refrigerant.
