1. Stock your vehicle with hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial wipes. Upon entering your car, use a disposable wipe to clean all major touchpoints such as door handles, steering wheel, gear shifter, etc.

2. Clean the areas that sometimes get overlooked. It’s a good idea to thoroughly clean armrests, headrests, and windows regularly to keep bacteria from hiding in these places you might not pay much attention to.

3. Vacuum more often. This not only helps with cutting down on bacteria, but it can also reduce seasonal allergies. Pet dander and dust particles can hang around in the seats, carpet, and floormats of your vehicle. It’s a good idea to use a bit of carpet or upholstery cleaner to clean up the seats as well as the floors and floormats of your vehicle.

4. Change the air filters. When was the last time you changed your vehicle’s cabin air filter? Dust, mold, and bacteria can clog your cabin air filter which can lead to unhealthy conditions inside your vehicle. Replace your cabin air filter today and breath in the fresh summer air!
